Nature Instructor

Jonathan was born and raised in Houston, TX where he spent most of his time outdoors. His father really paved the way for him, introducing him to bass fishing, hunting, and white water rafting at a very early age. He rafted the Grand Canyon on a trip with his dad at just 12 years old, and it was adventures like this that really jumpstarted his love for the outdoors. Jonathan has worked as a ski school instructor in Colorado, taught kiteboarding lessons to children in our area, and is the biggest advocate for getting his own children outdoors and in tuned with nature. His current hobbies are saltwater fishing, surfing, and wing foiling and when time permits he enjoys traveling with his family, camping, and rafting trips. 

Jonathan loves children and teaching and through Corpus Nature School he will focus on allowing children to explore outdoors, teaching wilderness survival basics, and introducing the kids to new activities. 

Jonathan has his Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification

School Mom

Lauren was born and raised right here on the Texas coast, Lauren's love for the beach and everything coastal came about early on in her life. Growing up, family time consisted of lots of beach time, her Dad pushing she and her siblings into waves, fishing, and even beach camping.

A true creative at heart, Lauren went on to create her own swimwear brand where she integrated her love for the ocean and her passion for creating beautiful things with her hands.

After years of hand crafting swimwear Lauren set her sewing machine aside to stay home and focus on raising her 3 children. Since then she has found a deep interest in creating an alternative education system for her children and other children in our area. Her creativity and knack for thinking outside the box will be a pillar in the foundation of Corpus Nature School.

Lauren's interests include: sewing, baking/cooking, interior decorating, rock climbing, surfing and homemaking.
